We are seeking a motivated individual, based in the Philadelphia area, to help at the Rittenhouse Farmers Market this season! You'll join Phil and Shanna (farm owners) each Saturday at one of the largest outdoor farmers markets in Philadelphia. We have been attending Rittenhouse Farmers Market for over 10 years. The job is fast paced and fun. You will learn a lot. Experience working in farmers markets/farms/restaurants not necessary, but a huge plus.

THE DETAILS: 

• Saturdays starting May 20 thru end of October (would also possibly take someone for peak season, late May to late August)

• Hours 8am (sharp) - 2pm

• Location: Walnut St, between 18th & 19th, Philadelphia, PA

• Must be able to lift at least 40lbs

• Help with set up/breakdown of tents and tables at market stand

• Help unload truck and continuously restock stand

• Help quart/pint/bag veggies 

• Ability to keep pace and learn the flow of the market stand

• Good customer service skills with the ability to do simple math 

• Must love veggies! Some knowledge of local veggies is needed, and we'll help fill in the gaps

• Pay $16/hr PLUS as many veggies as you need
